■Honouring a man of God is appreciating the gift/grace/ anointing God has deposited in them.
■Disrespecting a man of God is disrepecting God
■No grace is small. Each measure of grace upon a person is necessary for whatever God has purposed it to accomplish. Respect it. Grace is grace.
■When we dishonour a man of God, it affects the word of prophecy's ability to produce fruit:
○Either the word of prophecy is delayed or
○It does not manifest
■A prophet is not your servant although he's assigned to serve us.
○A prophet answers to God not to man
■There's so much responsibility that comes with being a prophet or servant of God,
○ There are certain sacrifices they have to make for the sake of those they are serving eg
- fasting
- praying
○The call to serve God is not for the fainthearted, there's so much to endure and yet one is expected to carry the calling with humility and compassion.
■Do no harm to God's prophets
■When you honour a man of God there's a reward that comes with that.
